Terms
Short version: HookPush is a free beta run by one person. Use it for messages people asked for. Don't use it to deceive or harm anyone.
The service
HookPush sends push notifications to devices whose owners chose to receive them. It is free during the beta. There is no paid plan, and nothing will ever be charged without asking you first.
It is offered as it is, without a promise that it will always be up or never lose a message. Don't rely on it alone for anything where a missed notification could hurt someone, like medical or safety alerts.
What you agree to
- Only send to people who chose to follow you, and only what they followed for.
- No spam, scams, phishing, malware, harassment, or content that is illegal where you or your followers are.
- Don't pretend to be someone else, or another company, with your name, picture or page.
- Don't try to get around the limits, or to reach devices that didn't follow you.
- Keep your send links, automation addresses and API keys private. Whatever is sent with them counts as sent by you.
What may happen
Channels that break these terms, or that people report and are found to break them, can be suspended without warning: their page says so and sends stop. Accounts can be closed for the same reasons. Limits can change during the beta; changes will be shown on the developer page.
Your content
What you send stays yours. You give HookPush only the permission it needs to deliver it and to show it back to you in History.
Stopping
You can delete your channels or your account at any time from the dashboard. Followers can stop notifications at any time from the channel's page or their device settings.
